How about a wireless router? DVD-Burner?USB external Hard drive? New Software? Do you need to be setup for DSL or a Cable Modem? Call us we can take care of it!

- Windows XP and VISTA Do you want to upgrade your operating system to Windows Vista? Ha-Ha (that's a joke!) We do work on all Windows computers, even Vista. Did your new computer come with Vista? We can move your important data from the old computer to the new!

- Virus Protection, Firewalls, and Spyware Slowing to a stand still? Can't get on the internet? Computer acting strange? 90% of the folks who bring us their computers have a virus. Most don't even know it, and almost all have an anti-virus program installed on their computer! Give us a call. We'll check your system and remove any virus, trojan, or other malicious code. We will also install anti-virus software, a firewall, and an anti-spyware application to protect you in the future. Anyone on the internet without the proper protection will get infected!!

- BackUps and File Recovery We will set up your computer to automatically backup your hard drive to a second hard drive on your computer, whether internal or external. Think your hard drive is dead? We may be able to recover your data, so give us a call!

- Information Tid-bit Fact: Anti-virus programs are not good at keeping viruses from your computer. They are worse at getting rid of a virus. However, they do a decent job of alerting you to the fact that you may have a virus! Simply having the anti-virus app installed on your computer is not enough. You need to run occasional virus scans of your entire computer. This will often alert you to the bad news of virus infection. If you never run a scan, your chances of being alerted are greatly reduced. Ditto for your anti-spyware software.

Mark D. Typical hard drive size was in the 30-40 meg range. Today's computers sport hard drives in the 100-300+ gig range and a DVD Burner ( no floppy at all!). The prime directive is still valid "backup your hard drive frequently", but how can you do it? Identify and backup your important data only! You can reinstall your applications and operating system from disk. WE WILL INSTALL A SECOND HARD DRIVE FOR BACKUP.

Fact #2:
You can "pay now, or pay extra later", but you WILL have need of a backup. Sooner or later your hard drive will crash, and all data will be lost. Businesses are foolish if they haven't planned for the day when their hard drive dies. They will lose everything on their computers!! WE WILL INSTALL A SECOND HARD DRIVE FOR BACKUP.

Fact #3:
Backup your important data to a second hard drive. Both drives won't die at the same time, unless your building burns down! To protect against fire or other major destruction of your computer at your business location, buy an external hard drive to back up to, and which you can store off site. They are cheap insurance!. WE WILL INSTALL A SECOND HARD DRIVE FOR BACKUP, OR EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE.

Fact #4:
Frequently trojans (which are extremely difficult to remove), viruses, and even spyware, will screw up your system so bad that the only viable option is to format and reinstall your operating system, and then build your system back. Of course, in the process, everything on your hard drive is lost except items that can be saved to another drive or disk. Today this is the most likely cause of data loss on your computer, much more prevalent than hard drive death or other mechanical failure!! WE WILL INSTALL A SECOND HARD DRIVE FOR BACKUP.

Mark D.
